Why Did OddFellows Open A Shop In Charleston, South Carolina?

What an amazing question!
OddFellows Ice Cream Co. was born in the heart of Brooklyn, NY and is now open at 550 King Street. Located in the space once occupied by Revelator Coffee. Our Charleston scoop shop offers a revolving menu of 30 ice cream flavors, including a large selection of vegan options, various soft-serve flavors, milkshakes, ice cream floats, and more.
Chef Sam Mason and husband-and-wife duo Mohan and Holiday Kumar opened the first OddFellows storefront in 2013 in Williamsburg, NY and have since expanded, adding multiple new locations, including one in Seoul, South Korea, with more on the way. Our company prides itself on “weird and wacky flavors” of small-batch ice cream — and we've whipped up over 600 in the eight years since our opening in 2013.
“Charleston has long been known for its unparalleled hospitality and we’re excited to play a part in its longstanding legacy by bringing a new kind of culinary experience to the community,” said co-owner Mohan Kumar. “We can’t wait to provide a fun and vibrant space for friends, family and loved ones to come together and indulge in our unconventional ice cream flavors.”
